PETROL - 77 litre auxiliary fuel tank for Grenadier Station Wagon - SW77P

This auxiliary tank is made from 3mm marine grade aluminium and has twin baffles. The tank is fitted with a brass fuel strainer and drain plug, a magnetic fuel level sender and a German made HUCO pump for seamless fuel transfer while driving.

In order to make space for the auxiliary tank, the rear sliencer is removed. A resinator/silencer is fitted to compensate for the rear silencer removal and a 76mm stainless steel exhaust end is fitted. PLEASE NOTE:The exhaust note will be louder after this exhaust modification.

An optional complete exhaust replacement will be availabable soon, in order to return the exhaust note to factory spec. This will be a stainless steel “bolt on” replacement unit.

The fuel tank bolts to the existing holes in the vehicle’s chassis to avoid drilling holes. The fuel vapour carbon filter is relocated or removed as per the owner’s choice. The wiring loom connects to the 12 volt supply on the driver’s side. The transfer pump is then operated by the overhead switch INT2 when required.
